Candidates from all over the world are invited to apply. The application can be done by filling out and submitting all the necessary documents in the online application of the EMJM Promise website.
Your online application in the general call will be automatically considered for the scholarship (ranking based), there is no separate application required. Only applicants with complete requirements are considered in the selection process.
Every year from 2022 to 2025, 21 students will be accepted and granted a scholarship and 5 positions will be available for self-paying students.
Application for the fifth cohort – Important Dates
The application for Erasmus Mundus scholarships is open from 1 Nov 2025 to 31 Jan 2026.
Deadline for the English Proficiency Certificate: 31 Jan 2026

Due to the large number of applications, evaluation will take longer than anticipated. The selection is expected to be finished by 15 Mar 2026.
Acceptance of places until 31 Mar 2026.
For the actual students of the fifth intake:
The first-semester registration starts in August and courses at University of Oulu begin on 1 Sep 2026.
